Vista Ridge Rangers Athletics competes at the highest level of Texas high school sports. Six programs. One standard. Every student-athlete who wears the red and black is part of something that goes beyond the scoreboard — a tradition built on excellence, character, and community.
WHO WE ARE
Vista Ridge High School opened in 2006 and immediately established itself as one of the premier athletic programs in the Austin metro. Built on a foundation of discipline, teamwork, and competitive excellence, Rangers Athletics has grown into a fixture of Leander ISD pride.
Our football program — led by Head Coach Chad Scott — has claimed multiple District 25-6A championships and consistently advances deep into the UIL 6A Division I playoffs. The standard set on Friday nights carries into every sport we compete in.
We develop athletes who go on to compete at the collegiate level across football, baseball, basketball, and more. The Ranger identity is earned — and it lasts a lifetime.
